Artist's Comments
After reading Orlando Furioso, I created a coat of arms for myself. Unfortunately for the first sketch, I had no clue as to the rules and regulations of heraldry, so after informing myself on the subject, I had to rework my original concept. The reason for the substantial changes lies in the fact that I'm female, and therefore can have neither a jousting shield form nor a crest, and color on color is forbidden.
So I reworked it, and though I'd love to design a crest for it as well, I rather like it as is. |
